(BPRW) Black PR Wire launches HBCU 101: The Writer’s Project

(Black PR Wire) MIAMI , FL -- Did you know that there are 101 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in the country? This fall, Black PR Wire will help put college students attending these universities on the write path!

The Black PR Wire team will roll out the HBCU 101: The Writer’s Project. This program is an exciting initiative of company  that invites young, aspiring future journalists and writers to submit their works for placement on Black PR Wire’s newsroom site.

“We have expanded our work with HBCUs to include this new program,” says Tanisha Coleman, MBA, marketing director at Black PR Wire, and a proud HBCU graduate of Florida A&M University. “The program provides students with an opportunity to showcase their best writing projects, proving that they have the write stuff.”

Black PR Wire will work with each of the participating Communications and Journalism departments to implement the initiative on their campus grounds.  BPRW will also promote the participants’ educational institutions on the newswire’s website in a powerful and meaningful manner.  The school providing the most published articles will receive recognition and awards from BPRW and the initiative’s sponsoring partners nationwide.
