(BLACK PR WIRE) (Miami) Beginning at 8:00am on April 6th AM 1490 WMBM’s Morning Show will air live from the beautiful complex of the Buena Vista Palace Hotel and Spa, 1900 Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830-2206, the host venue for the 135th Annual session of the Florida General Baptist Convention, Inc., (FGBCI).
Under the banner “Solidarity with the Savior – Season of Sacrifice,” the Florida General Baptist Convention, Inc. has committed 135 years of service to The Kingdom of God and Humanity. This year’s Convention will offer attendees critical information to better serve God by better serving as our brothers’ keeper.
The highly popular, sometimes controversial Morning Glory Show with Bishop Victor T. Curry will take the South Florida Icon, WMBM On the Road to the Convention in keeping with WMBM’s mission, and more importantly, the Bible’s mandate to “go ye therefore into all the world.” Convention topics and action plans include Relief Efforts for Haiti, Education and Economic empowerment. In this regard, on Wednesday April 7th, beginning at 2:00pm, Bishop Victor T. Curry will host a Political Forum during the Social Justice Hour at which time Convention Attendees and the community at-large will hear from US Senate and Gubernatorial Candidates.
