(BPRW) POPULAR MUSIC FESTIVAL IS BACK, BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER!

(BLACK PR WIRE) ( May 24, 2010) Deerfield, FL - One of South Florida’s most endearing music festivals returns with a bang! After a brief hiatus, the Carl J. Nixon Mango Festival is celebrating its 25th year with a fresh new start. Festival organizers have brought in successful event promoter, Washington D.C.-based Norris Wiggins, whose reputation for excellence precedes him.

The festival features a star-studded line-up that the entire family can enjoy. With R & B/Hip-Hop songstress Monica, the sultry and smooth voiced Chrisette Michele, old school crooner Bobby Womack and gospel legend Rance Allen, the festival offers something for everyone (and makes the perfect Father’s Day gift!)

With the summer concert season among us, the festival is one of the most affordable events available; offering over a dozen nationally recognized performers, like heartthrob Omarion and timeless soul group, Silk, food, fun and an assortment of unique items for sale from our vendors.

Jazz lovers will enjoy the smooth sounds of Roy Ayers and Ronnie Laws. Tom Browne has something for South Florida’s funk enthusiasts and Lonnie Liston-Smith’s incredible resurgence in the Hip-Hop world (Both Mary J. and Jay-Z have sampled his work!) is a testament to his staying power.

The two day festival is a cherished part of the Deerfield community that all of South Florida enjoys!
