(BLACK PR WIRE) WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Georgia State Representative Calvin Smyre, President of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL), will be among leaders of the National Policy Alliance (NPA) for a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama.

On Tuesday, December 14, 2010, NBCSL President Smyre will meet with President Obama in the Roosevelt Room of the White House to deliver remarks as part of NPA’s collective agenda. The meeting will benefit millions of constituents of the respective NPA member organizations. The ultimate goal of the meeting is to work collectively on policy solutions that will impact the communities represented by NPA in fundamental and practical measures and outcomes.
