(BPRW) CLARK ATLANTA UNIVERSITY (CAU) SETS TONE FOR HOLIDAY SEASON WITH MUSICAL CONCERTS

(BLACK PR WIRE) "" ATLANTA "" Clark Atlanta University's renowned Department of Music will present three musical concerts in the spirit of the holiday season. Two of the concerts will be held on CAU's main campus, 223 James P. Brawley Drive, S.W. The University's Symphonic Band, under the baton of Thomas Warner, will hold its annual Christmas Concert Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Bishop Cornelius L. Henderson Student Center. Admission is free and open to the public. Directed by Dr. Curtis Everett Powell, the CAU Philharmonic Society will present "SONGS FOR THE SEASON: An Evening of Fine Dining and Holiday Music" Saturday, Dec. 1, at 7:06 p.m. in the Henderson Student Center. The cost for the buffet and concert is $30 per person, and reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Philharmonic Society also will perform its annual concert, "Christmas at Park Street," Sunday, Dec. 2, at 4 p.m. at the Park Street Music & Art Complex, 793 Park Street, near I-20. Admission is free and open to the public.
