About Savoy Entertainment Center:
The Savoy Entertainment Center is located in the Inglewood area of Los Angeles, near Los Angeles International Airport. Inglewood is the city where the movie "The Wood" was filmed and the subject of its title. It is known as the "Cadillac" of urban Los Angeles venues that bring some of the top names in multi- generational music to perform for a most receptive, engaged, and loyal demographic of primarily African-American consumers. At the Savoy an artist will experience one of the most interactive audiences possible in Los Angeles, because they are not your average "Hollywood" types and rather truly appreciative listeners, held audibly captive. It's a small venue with a stage, dance floor, three VIP areas, artist dressing rooms, three bars, and a full service kitchen.

About Johnny Gill:
Born in Washington, D.C., Johnny Gill was discovered by singer Stacy Lattisaw after singing in his family's group Wings of Faith from the age of five. His solo career began in 1983 with the Top 30 R&B single "Super Love." In 1988, he joined New Edition, replacing Bobby Brown. In 1989 he sang on two R&B hits: "Where Do We Go from Here," a #1 by Stacy Lattisaw, and "One Love," by George Howard. Gill finally scored as a solo singer in 1990 with the release of his album Johnny Gill, which sold a million copies, topped the R&B chart, and made the Top Ten in the pop chart. He reunited with New Edition in 1996 and still records as a solo artist.
