(BPRW) SAN DIEGO CHARGERS COREY LIUGET AND TEN OTHER NFL PLAYERS TO PRESENT YOUTH FOOTBALL CLINIC IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LITTLE HAITI OPTIMIST CLUB

(BLACK PR WIRE) "" Miami "" San Diego Chargers Corey Liuget and ten of his NFL superstar friends will present the 1st Annual Corey Liuget Youth Football Clinic on June 29, 2013 in partnership with the Little Haiti Optimist Club. The Youth Football Clinic is free to boys and girls ages 6-18 and will be held at the Little Haiti Soccer Park located at 6301 N.E. 2nd Avenue in Miami from 9am-3pm. Youth in attendance will have an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game as well as make friends and meet a host of NFL players such as Mike Pouncey of the Miami Dolphins, Raheem Moore of the Denver Broncos, Adwele Ojomo of the New York Giants and Jeff Allen of the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Corey Liuget Youth Football Clinic is made possible with the generous support of sponsors including: Sports Authority, PowerAde, Welch's Fruit Snacks, Position Tech, Zico Water, DeuceBrand, B2, Complete Athletes and WEDR 99 Jamz FM. Also, the youth in attendance will receive complimentary t-shirts, giveaways and lunch.

In addition to the day's fun activities, the Little Haiti Optimist Club Michael "Doo" Wright Scholarship check will be presented by Corey Liuget and his NFL friends to a deserving student that has excelled not only in academics and sports but also in community service.

Michael Jerome Wright, widely known as Michael "Doo" Wright was an active member of Little Haiti Optimist Club and chaired the Education Committee. He passed away July 2010. He left a legacy that stands on the fundamental belief that education is important in guiding the future of today's youth. "We felt it only befitting to establish a Scholarship Fund on his behalf. To date, we have awarded 5 scholarships," said Delphine Gervais, scholarship selection committee chair.

"I feel it's very important to be a role model for our youth today. I believe that good parenting and education is the key to our children's future and success and presenting this event is a small way of giving back to Miami, a community that I love," said Corey Liuget.
