(BPRW) NFL LEGEND JASON TAYLOR JOINS THE FDOT ROADSIDE LITTER PREVENTION EDUCATION TEAM

(BLACK PR WIRE) "" Jason Taylor, a true All-Pro on and off the field, has signed on as a VIP celebrity for the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) Roadside Litter Prevention Education Media Campaign, "Drive it Home . . . Keep Our Paradise Litter-Freesm."

Taylor, the legendary former Defensive End for the Miami Dolphins, is the Founder and President of the Jason Taylor Foundation, which supports and creates programs that facilitate the personal growth and empowerment of South Florida's children in need by focusing on improved health care, education and quality of life.

"This is a great cause and I think it is fitting to help support a project that serves to preserve and protect our beautiful roadsides," says Taylor. "I'm honored to be on the team and encourage others to join in as well."

Jason Taylor spent 13 of his 15 NFL seasons in South Florida as a member of the Miami Dolphins. Taylor retired following the 2011 season ranked sixth all-time in NFL history with 139.5 quarterback sacks. The six-time Pro Bowl performer is also the league's all-time leader in fumble return touchdowns with six, while his 246 fumble return yards are the second highest total in NFL history. Following the 2006 season, Taylor was named the Associated Press NFL Defensive Player of the Year and in 2007, he was honored with the league's most prestigious off-field award being named the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year for his work through the Jason Taylor Foundation. The Jason Taylor Foundation is soaring to new heights and is committed to building a better future for the children of South Florida.

Mr. Taylor has produced a public service announcement for the campaign and is featured on billboards that will be placed statewide.
