(BPRW)Jessie Trice Community Health Center to Host the 11th Annual Santa's Workshop on December 19th

(Black PR Wire) -- Miami, FL – Filled with excitement, awe and wonder, the Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc. and the Jessie Trice Community Health Center Foundation will host their 11th Annual Santa’s Workshop. This magical event is set to help bring holiday cheer for communities and families. It takes place on Friday, December 19th, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the JTCHC Main Center, located at 5361 N. W. 22nd Avenue in Miami. The event is free and open to the public.

“This is such a special time of the year and we are thrilled to host this special celebration with this festive and delightful event,” says Annie Neasman, President and CEO of the Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc. Fun activities scheduled include a clown, face painting, pony and train rides, balloon animals, a puppet show and bounce houses will be among the fanfare for all to enjoy.

This year’s workshop is presented in part by TD Bank, Molina Healthcare, Premier Physician Support Services, Hialeah Hospital, Toys for Tots, The Jason Taylor Foundation, Toro Pest Management, The Home Depot, Apex Vending, and Villa Grande Club.

Among the donors, Westland Mall, located in in Hialeah, enhanced their support by hosting the Jessie Trice Community Health Center Giving Tree in their facility. Over 50 people gave to the cause, and 70 toys were collected. The toy drive was a success and has been extended. Gifts will be presented at Santa’s Workshop on Friday.

Other presenters and performers include: Reaves House Singers; Poetry Readings by Ebony Kennedy; Storytelling by Tia Harris and Deborah Rice-Lamar; the Miami Edison Band, the Salvation Army Band, and of course, a special appearance by Santa Claus himself!

The Jessie Trice Community Health Center, Inc. is a Florida 501 (c) 3, not-for-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center, which has been serving Miami-Dade County since 1967.
