(BPRW) Miami-Biscayne Bay Chapter of the Links to Host Linked with Basel at the Lyric Theatre

(Black PR Wire) Miami, FL -The Miami-Biscayne Bay (FL) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated will host Linked with Basel at The Lyric. Linked with Basel is an event designed to provide academic scholarships and programs support to deserving students. Art connoisseurs, collectors and enthusiasts will all be in attendance Saturday, December 5, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at The Historic Lyric Theater Cultural Arts Complex located at 819 N.W. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida.

The fundraising affair will include one-of-a-kind artistic pieces and exposure to local and national artists. In support of our National Breast Health Initiative, we will also be honoring a breast cancer survivor, April Shows, who is a corporate executive and graduate of Florida A&M University’s School of Business. During the event, April will share her journey and scholarships in her name will be given to very deserving students from Florida A&M University’s School of Business.

Participating national and local artists that will showcase and sell their artwork include: Artesia Brown, Brian Fitzgerald, Michael Hall, Addonis Parker, Joel Herard, Sophia Lacroix, Edmonde Lilavois, Jennifer Monaghan, Calvin, Ott Yewande, Smith Darren Watson and Malika Wood.
