(BPRW) American Legacy Network To Add 'THIS IS LOVE' To Its Streaming Playlist on October 6th

Documentary Film Celebrates the Career of Legendary Soul Singer Rudy Love

(Black PR Wire) New York, NY - American Legacy Network (ALN) has announced that it will premiere THIS IS LOVE on the streaming service on Wednesday, October 6th. The documentary film chronicles the life of legendary Soul Singer, Rudy Love. The addition of this film to ALN is the most recent in the effort of the streaming service to highlight and document black history and culture. ALN Founder and CEO, Rodney J. Reynolds, is excited to add to the company’s streaming options.

“At ALN, we’re constantly looking to showcase impactful films about impactful people,” said Reynolds. “After reviewing with the ALN team, I’m excited to stream this documentary about such an influential, yet little-known musician. I encourage all to watch this film and learn about an incredible singer.”

The film, which was originally released in 2018, shares the story of Rudy Love, a soul singer who opted to make music with his family over seeking fame. Despite maintaining a low profile, his voice has influenced music throughout several decades. In addition to chronicling Love’s career, the film takes a deeper look at how systemic racism in the music industry caused life-long struggles for many African-American artists. The film, which was directed by John Alexander and produced by Robert Love and JC Guest, features interviews with Sinbad, Mick Fleetwood, George Clinton, and many more. ALN is proud to continue the tradition of bringing often little-known black history to a wider audience. Click here to view other films that are highlighted during October on the streaming service.
