(BPRW) AFRICAN AMERICAN SORORITY SUPPORTS CENSUS 2020 EFFORTS WITH SPECIAL PSA **Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Distributes “Don’t Get Distracted” Television and Radio Spot

(Black PR Wire) Cary, N.C. – “Don’t Get Distracted” is the theme of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority’s public service announcement in support of the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2020 Census campaign, “Shape your future. START HERE.” The sorority has produced a 30-second public service announcement that is being distributed to the media and through the organization’s and the Bureau’s social media channels.

“We are gratified to support the U.S. Census Bureau to increase awareness and participation in the 2020 census count,” said Deborah Catchings-Smith, international president of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. “Reminders are scheduled to arrive in the mail mid-March. We are alerting our members and community to pay attention to their mail and don’t mistake the reminder for junk mail. Don’t be distracted with all that is going on and miss the opportunity to be counted. There is a lot at stake!”
