(BPRW) “Atlanta Speaks with Dr. John Eaves” Is the New Leading Voice in Political Commentary

When ‘Atlanta Speaks’ the Nation Listens. Tune into an Educated Take on Local Politics in Georgia With Dr. Eaves.

(Black PR Wire) Atlanta. Ga.  – After the 2020 presidential elections, the country saw how Stacey Abrams turned the entire state of Georgia from red to blue. Her efforts proved that Black politics are American politics and should be centered as such. Since then, Georgia has become the epicenter of Black politics. “Atlanta Speaks with Dr. John Eaves” is a political talk show covering local politics that affect the Black community with relevancy on a national level.

“Atlanta Speaks with Dr. John Eaves” is a local political commentary show that addresses significant topics within the Black community. The show will feature thoughtful conversations with elected officials, public policy experts, clergy and other opinion leaders who will partake in examination and even debate on topics that present an issue within their communities. Issues from gun control to COVID-19 will be topics of discussion.

“Atlanta Speaks with Dr. John Eaves” officially launches Thursday, April 22, 2021 and will air on the Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters Network (AIB) Network. “Atlanta Speaks with Dr. John Eaves” is one of the newest additions to the AIB Network.

Host Dr. John Eaves comments “I want to make our community leaders reachable and relevant… The main goal is to educate, engage and empower people. Motivating viewers to want to be part of the political process to make society better is something I strive for in every episode.”

About John H. Eaves, Ph.D.

Dr. Eaves got his first experience in politics while volunteering with his Uncle Reginald Eaves’ campaign for Mayor of Atlanta. Following his graduation from Morehouse, Dr. Eaves served as National Director of the NCAA Volunteer for Youth Program and then the Southeast Regional Director of the Peace Corps. In 2006, he achieved his dream of public service by getting elected as Chairman of Fulton County–Georgia’s most populous county. During his 11-year tenure, Dr. Eaves established a reputation as a staunch advocate on Healthcare, Transportation, Voting, Homelessness, and Criminal Justice Reform. Dr. Eaves currently serves as Executive Director of the Global Youth Ambassadors program and Senior Instructor at Spelman College.
