Grand Opening celebration takes place on Saturday, December 12 at Noon; filled with fanfare, entertainment and discounted entry fee

(Black PR Wire) ORLANDO, Fla. – Bronze Kingdom, home of the world’s largest collection of Bronze African Art, and the home of a premier, African diaspora event space., will host a series of events leading up to the culmination of the Grand Opening of the new, 27,000 square-foot facility.

Located on International Drive in Orlando, Florida – just minutes away from the Convention Center and Universal Studios, Bronze Kingdom’s sprawling facility radiates the beauty and lifestyle of kings and queens of the motherland.

“Our unique facility was designed by some of the nation’s leading artists and architects,” says Rawlvan Bennett, CEO. “Bronze Kingdom features sweeping views of exquisite and one-of-a-kind African treasures, and has amenities ranging from outdoor patios, exceptional stairway gallery with lush vegetation cascade, eye catching visuals and so much more. Staying socially-distanced throughout the celebration, the grand opening celebrations take place over the course of three days:

  • Dec 10 – Friends & Family and Corporate Supporters Day
  • Dec 11 – VIP/Media Day (this event is by invitation only)
  • Dec 12 – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Official Opening to the General Public

Highlights of the event will include remarks by Rawlvan Bennett, as well as community leaders, business executive, an array of music and entertainment, tours of the facility, refreshments from the onsite restaurant, and much more.

As the crown of O-Town, Bronze Kingdom’s new event space features a Nelson Mandela Gallery with an Intimate Patio, a Barack Obama Gallery with a Bar, and the facility’s signature restaurant, Serengeti.  The special events areas throughout the facility are filled with modern indoor spaces for business meetings, cocktail receptions, elegant brunches, lunches, dinner and dance parties, jam sessions and workshops.  The venue holds a capacity of 700 people and offers customizable floor configurations to fit all events.

Bronze Kingdom is an impressive gallery-museum featuring the largest collection of rare African bronze sculptures in the world.  Collector, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, Mr. Rawlvan R. Bennett has acquired this remarkable collection over 35 years and now has it on display for all to see.   

With a jaw-dropping collection of over 2,000 pieces, Bronze Kingdom represents an important spectrum of African bronze, beaded, and wood sculptures from all over the continent including Nigeria, Cameroon, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, and The Democratic Republic of The Congo.  Especially notable are grand palatial pieces from the Benin and Bamoun tribal kingdoms, some dating back to the early 1600s. 

The Bronze gallery-museum is open to collectors, institutions, and the general public for sales, educational tours, cultural programs, and exclusive events. Its unique gift shop houses items from indigenous clothing and accessories, to textiles, home décor and so much more! In 2019, Bronze Kingdom was voted the best art gallery of Orlando.

Bronze Kingdom follows all COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. All attendees are required to properly wear masks and adhere to social distancing rules of 6 feet. Bronze Kingdom maintains the highest standard of sanitization to keep guests safe.

Bronze Kingdom has taken extra precautions to ensure the comfort and safety of attendees. This includes Halo air filtration air conditioning system, non-invasive walkthrough thermometer at the door, hands free sanitization stations throughout the building, sneeze guards at registers, touchless point of sale systems and all the bathrooms are equipped with touchless soap dispensers and air dryers. At the end of each evening a UV system is used to sanitize surfaces.
