(BPRW) CEC-NA Convocation Confirmed for July 10 – 12 in Orlando

Search for a new hotel venue is underway due to host hotel’s closure

(Black PR Wire) Leadership for the Charismatic Episcopal Church of North America (CEC-NA) has confirmed that plans are still underway for the National Convocation, which takes place July 10 – 12, 2024, in Orlando, Florida.

However, initial plans for the host hotel and convocation site, which was scheduled to be at the Wyndham Orlando Resort Hotel, will be changed. This is solely due to the fact that – without notice – the Wyndham Hotel management has announced their closure of the property, effective June 30, just weeks before the Convocation.

“We are very disappointed that our initial host site has decided to close its doors,” said Archbishop Craig Bates, patriarch of the Charismatic Episcopal Church. “We are working diligently to secure a new venue for the CEC Convocation, and are confident all will be resolved in a timely manner.”

The 2024 Convocation, themed “A Church in Revival,” is a highly anticipated gathering that encourages believers to remain faithful, pursue righteousness, and seek God’s guidance. It features plenary sessions, workshops, and post-service events designed to revitalize the spiritual lives of attendees.

The CEC-NA will be sure to announce the new host site selected in the very near future, and the selection will be posted on the CEC website, and announced in the parishes nationwide. Attendees are encouraged to visit  for the latest information about the 2024 Convocation and updates on the new venue location.

The leadership and planning team for the CEC-NA Convocation sincerely appreciates the patience and understanding of its community during this transition period, and remains committed to providing an uplifting and enriching experience for all attendees at the Convocation.
