(BPRW) FPL and Partners Participated in the Spread Holiday Cheer at the 100 Black Men of South Florida’s Annual Toy Drive and Shopping Spree

FPL is a Proud Sponsor of the 100 Black Men of South Florida’s Annual Event

(Black PR Wire) Miami Gardens, FL – ‘Tis the season to spread holiday cheer! And on December 17, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) did just that and so much more. FPL partnered with 100 Black Men of South Florida for their Annual Toy Drive and Shopping Spree. The event took place at a Walmart Store in Miami Gardens. 

Hundreds of children lined up and 100 Black Men of South Florida provided 226 kids with $100 Gift Cards to shop. The children were escorted by an adult volunteer from FPL or other partner organizations. 

“Advancing meaningful initiatives and making a positive contribution toward racial equality is part of FPL’s commitment to working with the communities we serve to make Florida an even better place to live, work and raise a family,” said to Armando Fernandez, FPL’s External Affairs Director, Miami-Dade.
